Post by Cyril »

Hello,
I try to validate a Storage Plan, the readiness check make this error :
[Storage] The connection to the destination NFS volume of the datastore Vol01 is not configured correctly. Check the export rules specified for the volume

Which rule wait VAO for validate the connection ?
Thank you.

Hello,
I'm not 100% sure I understand the question.

When I had this kind of error messages, then my NFS access permissions for the Netapp replication target were missing.

At failover, the disaster site ESX hosts need access on the SnapMirror target. Per default, there is no access. So the NFS export rules need to be configured manually on the target Netapp. The target ESX cluster must be able to access the SnapMirror destination. The configuration happens in a similar way like the production Netapp.

Best regards,
Hannes

Hello,

I deleted all the config and create again the orchestrator plan and now all it's fine. I suppose that the relation snapmirror was not good for VAO because i create the relationship after the intgeration in VAO.
