[New] Grafana Dashboard for Veeam Backup for AWS v3

Hi everyone, Veeam Backup for AWS v3 was announced not that long ago, and with that a rev 1.1 for the API, which looks absolutely superb. So decided to take the new API to a spin and build a Grafana Dashboard for it, so far this is my best one, with a lot of great visibility of all what VBA AWS v3 gives us: EC2, RDS, and VPC.

Grafana Dashboard - Summary of features

• Summary - Total number of Repositories, Policies, Protected VMs, VBA Appliance version.
• Unprotected VMs - Both, in one handy list with size, region and name. And with a great visual map to see the unprotected blue regions
• Job History Information - A simple table with the latest jobs and status, also includes whether it is a snapshot or backup job
• Duration of Policies - A simple graph showing duration per job over time
• Protected vs. unprotected VM in a simple pie chart
• Tables with all the components protected, in a very comfortable way to consume.

When you finish the steps we will have something similar to that Dashboard that will allow you to visualize:

Hello everyone,
A year has passed since the last update on this. Veeam Backup for AWS v4 was announced on the 29th of September, and with it, great new exciting support like EFS Support, and much more. Full Release Notes here.



As enhancements for the Dashboard:

• The map with Unprotected VMs now has been updated to use the latest Grafana Map technology
• All the queries have transitioned to InfluxDB v2.x + Flux
• Legacy panels have transitioned to modern Grafana 8.x panels
• Updated tables with all the needed details, including the new Backup Repo Tier, VPC Policies, etc.
• Added the EFS logic into Data Protection Policies, and protected resources
