No space left (S3 bucket)
Hello everyone,
I am having troubles with one of the backup policies, it stops in the middle of the backup job with an "No space left on device POSIX".
I've opened a case with ID: #05853183
I wanted to ask here, is there some limitation with S3 bucket repository, maybe because of veeam community edition?
I don't see anywhere that there is such limitation. My S3 bucket is just 2.1 TB large.
Instance that I am backing up with this policy is about 1.5 TB in size (4 volumes, 200, 250, 600, 650). I have disabled largest volume backup and now i am getting "Repository is low on free space"
Thank you!

Re: No space left (S3 bucket)
Hi,
There should not be limits to S3. Sounds more like the OS or data disk has an issue. Please continue working with support for insight as it will be hard to troubleshoot via the forums.
Thanks!

Re: No space left (S3 bucket)
Hello,
Support case was already opened, there is a case ID on the first post.
I have an answer from a support team, problem was in worker instance volume. Root volume was by default only 8GB so solution was to increase worker root drive to 100GB.
Thank you!

Hello,
Can you post how you increased the worker root drive to 100GB? I have a similar case open with support but they are telling that the bucket has inadequate space?

This is what I have done:
#Log in to veeam instance with putty and open:
sudo nano /etc/veeam/awsbackup/config.ini
#Add following entries to change Worker's volume size to 100GB:
[CAmazonApiOptions]
ApplianceRootVolumeSize=100
