Hello,
i'm running an Oracle Database 11.2.04 on EC2 (RHEL 7.4) on AWS.
Today we run a snapshot only policy (dedicated on our Veeam for AWS schedule) which doesn't ensure consitency for backup on the internal DB Oracle (database is always open for writings).
We are looking for the correct way to implement needed scripts to ensure Oracle hot backup and also consistency.
Do you have any idea or suggestion to make it work in this way?
Thanks in advance for your help
Regards

Re: Oracle EC2 Pre and Post-script suggestion
Hi Alessandro,
You can use the guest scripting option for this and utilize a native script that performs RMAN action to create a consistent backup (for example https://www.thegeekdiary.com/oracle-rma ... t-example/).
