I've had some scenarios where it was determined that the backup chain was corrupt for a couple of vm's using Veeam Backup for AWS. The only way I was told to reset the backup chain was to create a new folder in the repo and to repoint the entire backup policy to the new folder. Is there not a way to just reset the chain for the 2 specific VM's that have failed? I can see scenarios where the backup policy is big and there are dozens of VM's/terabytes within the policy. Creating a new repo folder and restarting the backup from scratch results in a large and time-consuming backup. I would rather it be the case that we can just fix the 2 VM's that are having problems.

Re: Reset backup chain
Hi Collin,
I guess this was feedback delivered via a support case? I don’t think we have any way of doing this at the moment but it does make sense for a future enhancement.
