Based on the weekly forum post by Gostev it would appear that there may be an upper limit on how much backup data would be able to transfered from AWS to an on-premise repository (either at a main site or at a co-location site).
It would appear to be a function of the internet to on-premise bandwidth capacity. I would assume that there would need to be WAN accelerators on AWS and at the on-premise site.
Has anyone at Veeam done any benchmarking about realistic data transfer capacity in a 24-hour window?

I understand, but certainly don't remember saying anything about speed limits in the weekly digest about Veeam Backup for AWS
No, WAN accelerators are not applicable to Backup Copy jobs from an external repository to an on-prem repository.
We will double check with QC, but I don't see any reason why you cannot be doing hundreds of MB/s of download speed with Backup Copy jobs to on-prem, if your Internet bandwidth allows for it.
