hi,
is there a way to create veeam on aws backup that are vss compliant on windows protected ec2 istantces?
i mean, like the onprem veeam version, where you can specify to run a vss snapshot...

Hi Marcello, this is not possible with v1 of Veeam Backup for AWS so you would have to leverage the Veeam Agent for Windows within your Windows EC2 instance to create this.

Veeam Backup for AWS v2 released about 1 month ago. It includes the ability to do app-aware snapshots by leveraging AWS's Systems Manager agent.
