Hi,

You can configure Veeam Backup for Azure and integrate it with Veeam Backup & Replication. Once this has been set up, you can use backup copy jobs to your local storage/repositories.

You can find more details about this in our integration user guide.

Thanx Niels,
but there is no VM and only a SQL-instance to choose from. I can't see any assets / storage / containers but the SQL-responsible wanted to have a backup of containers like "applogs" etc.

A policy for the veeam-appliance is running and obviously doing backups....

Puzzled - where to get the wanted data

Veeam Backup for Azure currently only supports VM and SQL instances as backup source. Am I correct in understanding that your SQL admin wants to backup a storage container where he stores SQL data?

How are those SQL servers built-up by the way? Are they just running as virtual machines within Azure?
