Good Day

It would be great to have more Features:

- Support of Azure PostGre DB Backup
- Support to Copy Azure DB / PostGre DB Backups from Azure Blob store to On Prem Repository with VBR

Thanks

Hi Andre,

Noted, but can you please clarify what are the minimum required features are? Like will the database restore be enough or you're looking for something more advanced in terms of the restore operation?

Do you refer to the ability to register an external repository in Veeam B&R with these objects and then run a backup copy job from VBR to another repository?

Thanks!

Hello Vitaly

Good Questions ;)

Backup/Restore
- Restore to original and alternate location (for Example to different PostGre Server or Different Subscription)
- Export "Backup File" to Filesystem. (For example to make it portable if we need to restore it with PostGre Tools outside of Veeam)

VBR
- Yes register as external repository and then use backup copy job to copy it to an VBR Repo for longer protection
- and also the ability to copy it to tape for long term protection.

Thanks

Ok, so interaction should be on the database level with an option to go back to the original and to a different location. Thanks for the clarification on the VBR piece as well, we will keep this feature in mind when planning our next updates.
