I am on version 18.104.22.1683 of Veeam Backup for Azure. I've got one Server 2012 R2 VM that continually fails to deploy the VSS agent for the application aware snapshots. I placed a support request (Case # 04652856) a couple days ago and haven't heard back so I thought I'd ask the experts here too. The VM name is scrnconnect.
The error message is:
Snapshot backup of scrnconnect has failed (Deployment of Windows VSS agent failed, please check the logs)
I have the logs if anyone would like me to send them to ya, but they're also in the support request.

When logs review is required, then your best bet would be to wait for our support team to reply. As an idea, I would recommend reviewing the Windows Event log at the time when your VSS agent is deployed. THis might give you some clue on further steps.
