Hello all!
Just installed latest version from Marketplace.
Permissions are checked, everything is fine. All required APIs are enabled (I have no warning/alerts in Veeam GUI).
But, when I try to add repository, I see no buckets there. Of course, I created separate bucket for Veeam, and Veem_Repository role is also added. I also tried to directly add service acc that VM uses in Google Storage rules for current bucket (all related roles), but no luck.
Is there ane caveat/issue?
We didn't make additional rectrictions to standart CGP roles (other words, there're none some paranoid security tunes).
Could you please advice what I should inspect additionaly?
WBR,
Konstantin

Re: Add repository issue
Some progress..
In logs I found following:
####
Veeam.GCP.Backup.Service[820]: Will be rescan below class of storage: STANDARD;ARCHIVE
####
I tried to change bucket type to "standard" (instead of "nearline"); and everything became fine.
Very strange, why Veeam uses only these two types of buckets?

Re: Add repository issue
Hi Konstantin,
Nearline storage is not supported by Veeam Backup for Google Cloud, that's why you were not able to register it in the UI.
Thanks!
