Hi,
looking at Veeam to backup MS365 mailboxes and Sharepoint/Teams.
I understand we need to license per MS365 user, but is that only counting users with an MS365 license, or anyone who accesses a Sharepoint site with a login for our tenant?
We have about 250 licensed users, who have a mailbox, but also about another 500 non-licensed users, who only have an Azure AD login (through AD synchronization), who can access certain Sharepoint sites.
So are these 500 considered actual users, thus requiring a VB365 license, or more like external (Guest) users?

Re: Another License count question
Hi Patrick,
I'd say that in such a case your VB365 license should only cover your M365 licensed users.
