I have heard that the Azure archive tier will be supported as part of a Scale-Out Backup Repository in VBR v11. This is great for those of us who have to deal with backups that are retained for no other reason than "Legal says we need to keep this for 7 years." and at the same time we're told to cut costs whenever possible.
Will a similar feature be made available for VBO? It in theory would save an organization money for data that isn't likely to be accessed after 180 days. Having some sort of feature that can move data to the most cost effective tier based on the age of the backup would be a great option to have available. Thanks!

Re: Any plans for supporting the archive tier on Azure?
There are no plans at the moment but as always things can change quick at Veeam. Your request is noted however.

Is the best way to vote up a feature request to give it a like or is there something more official?
