Azure Object Storage Repository

Hi all,

We are currently backing up Office 365 infrastructure onsite. There is a 1 year retention policy. I'm just looking at our onsite storage and growth as we are reaching some storage limits.

How does adding Azure blob work? When will data be backed up to it and would it reduce the data Veeam backups are using onsite?

Hi Daithi,

In VBO, it's not a backup copy pulling the data automatically from local repository to object storage. You will need to create separate backup jobs targeted at repositories extended with object storage.
