I'm evaluating a backup of our o365 user-data to Backblaze B2. Currently the initial upload is still ongoing, and the Backblaze bucket size is at 2.4TB at this moment.
In the Backblaze admin page I see that there is already 300+GB downloaded.
Will these download-transactions increase at the same rate once the initial upload is completed? I mean, if the daily incremental backups of mail and onedrive cause a download of 300GB each day, then this would become a very expensive solution?

Re: Backblaze - how much download?
For backup, VB365 makes about 1% of downloads to update the metadata locally and in the cloud. This metadata/cache allows for faster exploring backups when it comes to restores.
Here you can see rates for average/expected amount of calls during the backup: https://bp.veeam.com/vbo/guide/design/s ... orage.html
These numbers vary depending on the source data type and structure.

Thanks, I couldn't find that info. I'll keep an eye on the download-counters!
