We've got a customer which has an insane amount of Sharepoint Online sites, which is used/created by one of their applications. You can guess it takes forever to backup this environment.
The backup job is configured to backup only the Sharepoint environment and has a dedicated repository.
The only thing I can think of is to split the job in multiple jobs and make selections of sites. The problem with this when new sites are created we've to add this to a backup job manually.
Has anyone experience or tips to tackle this issue? Thank you in advance!

Re: Backing up insane amount of Sharepoint sites
Hi Tim
What's an insane amount of Sharepoint Sites? Do you have more information for us about the sites you need to protect?
You can find our recommended max objects per Proxy/Job in our best practice guide. Depending on how many objects (SharePoint sites) you need to protect, a second proxy could help.
Thanks
Fabian

Re: Backing up insane amount of Sharepoint sites
With 35000 Sites, a second proxy server would be recommended.
