hello all,
i have not been able to solve this looking at the documentation and doing searches, so i thought i'd ask here instead: is it possible to backup and restore microsoft forms using the latest version of vbo 5?
scenario:
an office 365 user created a form using https://forms.office.com. subsequently, his user account was deleted. after the retention period for this deleted user, his account got permanently deleted from office 365 (a.k.a. removed from "deleted users" as well), resulting in the form he created being gone as well. he never bothered to transfer ownership on said form before he left... so far, this is expected behaviour from microsoft's side.
i have not been able to find out where forms are actually stored, and i have been wondering if they maybe have been backed up by vbo and could be restored. basically, i'm running backup jobs for "entire org" for all office 365 services that can be backed up using the latest version of vbo.
any ideas?
thanks in advance and kind regards,
lars

Re: backup and restore microsoft forms
Hi Lars,
VBO doesn't support Forms. As far as I understand, Forms stores its data somewhere in Azure, and not within SharePoint or OneDrive, which makes it unaccessible for VBO.
Thanks!
