[Request] Backup for Office 365 integration into B&R

Hello,

it sound like Veeam Backup for Office 365 is an independant product.
Is there a way to integrate its job into Backup&Replication console. It would be great and much easier.
In a perfect work, it would be possible to integrate that in Tape exports

Hi Philippe,

Not today and not in the upcoming 1.5. There are many reasons for it, one being that the repository in B&R is completely different from the repository in VBO. That said, what many are doing today is install VBO in a VM and then backup that VM with B&R. In fact, when you do ILR restore of a VBO VM, B&R will recognize it as a VBO server and offer email recovery just like it does with a virtual exchange

At the very least it would be nice to see this built in to the B&R console. Even if it uses a different repository. Integration in Veeam BEM would be even better since the only alerting right now is through email notifications or logging in and checking the job status. I would not pay for Veeam Office 365 licensing if BEM integration is not available.

1.5 offers PowerShell and REST api for custom reports. What exactly would you like to see in BeM then?
