Backup shared mailbox

Hello,

Is it possible to "dynamically" backup shared mailbox ?
I mean if I add Organization and check mail + archive or use an Azure Dynamic group, I'm not sure my shared mailbox are there.
Is there a solution ?

Hi matteu,

AFAIK, shared mailboxes cannot be added to dynamic distribution groups. And with that, I believe, you may want to consider some more creative ways to achieve the goal and use some PowerShell scripting to get shared mailboxes and add them to backup.

That mean I need to have a group contains all sharedmailbox and when I create one share mailbox, I need to add it manually to this group right ?

Maybe I can also backup all the organisation and exclude teams and sharepoint and onedrive.

Exclude Exchange user group (dynamic) + user I don't want to be backuped

It should backup all the mail account (and also shared mail) not inside the exchange use group right ?

This would work: in the backup, you'll get all mailboxes from the organization.
