Hi,
An S3 Repository also has a disk location for the same Repository. I guess this contains index information for the S3 repository ?
in Case this Disk part of the repository breaks or get lost / deleted , can this be rebuild from the S3 Repository alone ? or should you actively create a backup of this repository as well in case this gets lost or corrupted ?
S3 can now have a Backup Copy job to amazon glacier or azure archive storage is there a way to bypass this to create a backup copy job to S3 Compatible ? as we have a system that can do S3 to tape and we would like to use this as a final destination for secondary copy.

Re: Backup with S3 Repository also has a Disk repository
Hi,
1) The local database stores metadata that helps to avoid extra costs when, for example, browsing your backups. Here you can get more details about it: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... tml?ver=60
If this cache is lost for whatever reason, you just need to re-synchronize your object storage, and VB365 will get the copy of this metadata from object storage and rebuild the cache.
2) Backup copy to an S3 Compatible repository is not yet available, but is planned for the next releases.
Thanks!
