Cannot backup SharePoint On-Premise

Post by Joak »

Hi People.

Pretty new in Veeam, I got a problem to backup SharePoint Sites On-Premise.

I can connect Veeam to my Sharepoint server. No problem for that.
But when I try to backup sites, server is greyed.
Error is : Failed to get site collection : http://Sharepoint-Server. "TitleResource" filed doesn't exist.

If I try to backup the organisation, i got this error : Failed to initialize site processing: http://Sharepoint-Server. "RequestAccessEmail" doesn't exist.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Joak,

First: Welcome to the forums!
Second: What version of SharePoint on-premises are you running?

Hi Mike and thank you.
I installed Veeam Community for 3 on my client to start. 1 virtual server by client is dedicated to Sharepoint.

I tried to backup 2 Sharepoint 2010 sites et one in Sharepoint 2013. Windows system is 2012 R2 for one 2010 site et one 2013. 2008R2 Sp1 for the second 2010 site.

Hi Joak,

Because of the major differences in API we don't support Sharepoint 2010 or 2013. We only support 2016 as it has the same API's (more or less) as SharePoint Online.

Sorry about that

Cheers
