A year ago, our sales accidentally sold a 5 year subscription for 48 seats instead of rental. It sucks that I need a separate VM for a single customer for the next 4 years. Is there any way to backup this customer on the same server as the one running 365 backup with our rental licenses, like two instances of Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 with different licensing?
The easiest would be to convert the subscription into rental, but Veeam is unwilling to do that.

Re: Combining rental and subscription licensing
No, that's not possible. You cannot run two instances of VB for M365 on the same machine. I'm afraid that your only option is to keep two servers or convert the key to rental.

Hi yellowonline,
As Vitaliy said, from a technical perspective, it is indeed not possible. But a quick question on the conversion request. Did you request it via a Veeam representative or through your reseller (For my information...)?
