Community Edition - Folders but no files backed up
We're using the Veeam Backup for Office 365 Community Edition as an evaluation tool. We backed up a couple of users' Onedrive accounts, including my own. When browsing with the Sharepoint browser, all of the folders are there, but no files. I deleted a folder and the files it contains, and restored the folder. The folder restored fine, but no files. All prerequisites succeeded during installation, and the 365 account configured for backup passed the check at install time. I'm thinking there's a setting in our tenant that's not right, but I haven't found any documentation regarding that. Any help is appreciated.

Which is the retention policy you've setup for the repository?

Hi Patrick,
First: Welcome to the forums
Second: Niels is correct, that is the first thing you should tell us. We have two types of retention and it could be that you choose item-level retention which means that your files should be younger (changed or modified date) then the set retention.
He actually wrote a good explanation himself around how the retention types work: https://www.veeam.com/blog/new-features ... up-v3.html
I think it is not in your configuration but rather in the setup. So let us know how you created the job with what settings
Thanks
Mike

It was retention. I was not understanding item-level retention. Thanks for the help.
