Hi.
I'm planning on installing VB-O365 on a physical server that currently hosts our main VBR software. As VBR can't back itself up, we have a job set up to save the configuration and copy it to a secondary file repo every day. Is it possible to do the same thing for VB-O365 as well, or is this something in the works?
Thanks
Alex.

Re: Configuration backup of VB-O365
Hi Alex,
Currently, there's no configuration backup in VBO. For VM-based VBO installations, we usually recommend protecting them with VBR, while for physical deployments you could use Veeam Agent for Windows. Also, if you're planning to run VBO and VBR servers on the same hardware, consider creating additional VBO proxy on a separate machine to take the load off the main server.

Re: Configuration backup of VB-O365
The VM route is the other option we were considering, but as we use different SANs for prod and backups it would have been nice to keep it all the data together. Thanks for the info !!
