Configuring Service Provider Self Service Recovery with Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365
Hello,
I am having trouble connecting to two clients from the VBO explorer to a service provider to restore objects.
Veeam version:
Provider rating:
- Veeam 9.5 Update 4 build 2753
Customer side:
- Veeam 9.5 Update 4 build 2866
- Veeam 9.5 Update 4 build 2753
- VBO 365: 9.5.4.2753./422
These two clients are already using a backup copy job to this so the 6180 is open and is in idle.
When connecting with VBO to the provider, we select the provider and enter the good Office 365 credentials of the customers (even in admin ..) = Connection Failed. The customer sees well on his firewall that there is connection to his provider.
Where can I find VBO 365 logs on the client side?

Yes, On vbo 365, the authentication box and the same certificate as VBR has been installed.

Which is the exact error you're getting? Also which is the login you are using to authenticate? The one from VBO org or VCC?

- Powershell test-connectio 6180 to Service Provider is good (tenant has already backup copy to SP)
- When add store > Choice VBO365 Service provider
- First Line : choice tenant SP
- Second Line : credential VBO Org
- Third Line : password for VBO Org
- Error Exact : Connection Failed

The error you're getting from Cloud Connect is generic and can be caused by a good variety of reasons. Given that you've followed the steps from our help center and it's still failing, I'd suggest you open a case with support and let our engineers verify the configuration and connections. This will definitely speed up the troubleshooting.
Please post your case ID in this thread, so that we could follow up.
