Current site is not a tenant administration site

We're paid customers with VB&R but I'm trying to use the CE edition of O365 backup to backup one small SharePoint site I'm playing with. I'm getting an error that says "Connect to SharePoint: Current site is not a tenant administration site" when using Modern Authentication. I'm not sure what else to try as there are no logs that I can see to help me troubleshoot this.

As matter of fact, yes. I am part of the Microsoft Beta and renamed our Sharepoint domain last week.

It looks like, that it is not supported for now:

with the SharePoint domain rename feature that is currently available in the Private Preview program and is unsupported by Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365. If you change the SharePoint domain name on the Microsoft 365 side, you will not be able to protect your SharePoint data with Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365.

Good to know. I didn't catch this. I will patiently wait and see what happens. I imagine this is something that may be supported in the future.
