Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to setup a repository destination on a NAS (Synology DS218)?
The issue is that there is no permanent PC/laptop connection to the network where the NAS is deployed.
My idea is to setup the Veeam O365 program, and have the backups stored on the indicated NAS device.
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Ferenc

Re: deploy Veeam O365 Backup Repository
Hi Ferenc and welcome to the Community!
Yes, it's possible to use an SMB3 share on a Synology NAS as a VBO repository. To avoid any issues, it's also important that there's a permanent connection to the repository.
