Hi,
using multiple/auxilary backup (azuread enterprise-) backup applications help increase performance and avoid throtteling on ah backup task, but does the also help restoring?
in my case i had an sharepoint online site with like 400gig and it took like 12h to be restored... propably "multithreading" restore operations with mutliple acccess applications to the cloud help there?!
best regards
Stephan

Re: does multiple azuread backup applications increase restore traffic?
Hi Stephan,
For restores, these apps are not involved, and if you search on these forums a bit, you may notice that even using multiple applications for backup is no longer recommended by Microsoft. At the same time, it doesn't mean that we are not looking into ways to enhance the restore performance - this is an ongoing process, and, for example, one of the latest optimizations for sites with a large number of lists and items was introduced in v6a.
Thanks!
