Effect of breaking one organization job into separate jobs

I am currently looking at cleaning up some job which were created as organization jobs with Exchange, Sharepoint, and OneDrive all together in one repository. This may be a simple answer but what happens when I break those into organization jobs with each role selected separately? Will the new jobs do a full backup of all the data or will it be aware of what has been backed up before in the old job?

It depends a bit. Will you point them to the same repository? In that case we are still aware of the data
If you are going to point them to another repository, you might want to migrate that data from the old to the new one first
