Hello,
Is encryption available for backup's? Has anyone managed to implement this?

Re: Encryption for Backup's?
Hi,
First: Welcome to the forums!
Can you let me know what it is that you are exactly seeking? The data is being stored in a jet blue database so it is an active database.
Thanks
Mike

Re: Encryption for Backup's?
Hi Mike,
Thanks for the welcome.
I'm looking for encryption of data being backed up at rest once the backup has completed, the data should be encrypted. Is this possible? Thanks.

Re: Encryption for Backup's?
Unfortunately this is not possible. As said, the data resides in a running database (similar to an exchange database). I will look into this but for the moment I don't have a solution besides enabling bitlocker on the drive (but I haven't tried that out on our solution, although I know it is a recommendation on exchange database so I see not much issues)

Thank you for the response. I will try Bitlocker and see how I get on.
