Dear veeam community
I have had this error while I'm attempting to add a Backup Repository in Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 in a compatible s3 bucket:
Failed to connect to the specified bucket. Check your object storage connection settings "Virtual host domain is required while accessing a specific bucket".
I had the same error but for Veeam Backup and Replication version, and I applied this solution:
1)Open registry on Windows system and open the next path:
2)HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup and Replication registry
3)Add or change the next value:
4)S3ForceVirtualHostedStyle(DWORD) to 1
By adding this key in the registry I achieved the solution for Veeam Backup and Replication version, it worked well I was able to add the backup repository correctly...
But now the issue is replicated but for Veeam Backup for Microsoft office 365 version, I tried to add the same key, but the path in the registry is different, the path that I found for this version is:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 and I create the key S3ForceVirtualHostedStyle(DWORD) to 1 there, I restarted the server, but the error is not solved...
Do some of you knows what could be the solution of this issue but now for Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365?
Thanks in advance for your kind support.
