Error when backing up Teams data

Post by i.stajcic »

Hi,
We recently upgraded Veeam for O365 from version 5 to version 6.
After the upgrade, we started experiencing issue when backing up Teams in one of our MS365 Organizations. The Teams backup fails with "Failed to process team: TeamName . One or more errors occurred.. No valid license for the tenant exists.. The remote server returned an error (403) Forbidden. Everything else in that tenant is backed up successfully. Backups for other MS 365 Organizations are also working without issues. As far as I am aware of, nothing has changed in the affected MS 365 Organization.
Does anybody have an idea what might be causing this error?

Greetings,
Igor

Hi Igor

Are you using Modern Authentication with allowed legacy authentication protocols? Please change to Modern App-Only Authentication only.
It looks like Microsoft disabled legacy authentication methods in your tenant and you didn't made the change to "Modern App-Only Authentication" yet.

Thanks Fabian,
The legacy application authentication is already disabled, I just checked. Any ideas where to look next?

Hi Igor

Thanks for checking. Please check if your app has the required permissions:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... tml?ver=60

If permissions are correct and using legacy auths is disabled within Veeam, please open a support case and let our support team analyze the debug logs. Please share the case number here for our references.

Best,
