Hello Veeam R&D Team for Microsoft 365,
we're hosting a Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 environment and are currently facing a problem where a corrupt OneNote file is causing issues with the backup.
We have managed to remove the OneNote file on it's original location, but due to a Purview retention policy, the file is not completely deleted, but has been moved to the folder "PreservationHoldLibrary" where the same error occurs again when we try to back it up.
We have already raised a case to Veeam support but were told that it's not possible to exclude the "PreservationHoldLibrary" folder as it is a hidden folder.
Removing/disabling the Purview retention policy is also not an option as this would result in the removal of other files that should be retained.
We'd like to request a feature to exclude the PreservationHoldLibrary from backup jobs, regardless of whether it is OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online personal site or other SharePoint Online sites.
