Backups are configured to back up two different O365 organizations. These are standalone O365 configurations, no AD interaction at all. Backups of all mailboxes have been successful. Trying to export to ANY mailbox to a PST file (for legal reasons) yields the following error:

From what I see above, it looks like a crash of the explorer. Is that correct? Please keep working with support and let us know the outcome. I'm afraid this is the first time I hear about this and can't think of a potential solution. Our engineers will need to go through the logs to find out more

Support's escalation team just confirmed Outlook 2016 and Veeam Explorer have some sort of an issue working together right now... Temp fix, Office 2013, 64-bit (digging up old ISOs...)
