Hi
I'd like to be able to export a monthly backup to cold storage.
right now the only way I can find is:
disable services for veeam o365 backup
copy paste the whole backup to external drive
start services again
this is a rather crude way of doing it..
is there a better way where the services do not have to be disabled?
a copy/paste takes a full day and during that time the backup does not run

Re: export to removable drive periodically
Hi Martin, you could use the Veeam Agent for Windows to back up the server once a month to an external drive as a workaround. This feature itself is not available in the product.

Re: export to removable drive periodically
that is a possibility of course.
not sure if it would work..
setup is:
hardware with OS
mgmt VM with veeam o365 running and mounted share from main hardware OS.
So if I do a veeam backup of the VM I won't get the share.
I'll look into just doing a veeam backup of the share.. just need to see if there are any compression options..
