When a user leaves our organization, we export their email to a PST and remove the mailbox. Until we moved to o365, this was a call to export it from the Exchange backups in VBR, and worked great. Now that we have migrated users to 0365, the process still works, but the resulting PSTs are much larger. This appears to be due to some extra 'Deleted Item' folders being exported into the PST along with the normal folders. One user, for instance had a 5.4 GB pst generated with 4.6 GB of that total in 'Permanently deleted items'. It would be a great improvement if the -folder parameter supplied to Export-VEXItem supported receiving an array of folder objects, or better yet a parameter could be added that specified a set of folders to exclude.
Thanks!

Re: [Feature Request] - Export-VEXItem would be useful to be able to restore multiple folders
Clint,
Just to be on the same page... We are talking about doing an export (so restore) and the possibility to exclude folders in that restore. Not to exclude them from the backup?

I will discuss this with our development teams. I'm pretty sure it sounds more difficult then it is but we will see what they say.
Thanks for the feature request!
