Failed to process site: http://bot195.... The remote name could not be resolved: 'bot195112-000'
Hi, just upgraded to v3 and now I'm seeing errors with my backups, any ideas?
Failed to process site: http://bot195.... The remote name could not be resolved: 'bot195112-000'
I've tried excluding sharepoint sites in the backup settings, but the problem persists.
Appreciate any help.
Thanks

Hello,
as it is hard to guess, I can only recommend to open a support case for the issue. Please post the case number here for reference.
Thanks,
Hannes

Hey Bass Teq,
First: What version are you running? Is it version 3?
Second: If it is version 3, I actually suspect a permissions issue at this point in time but as Hannes said, we need the additional information in the logs so please create a support case as he instructed

Bass,
We did see a few issues with processing sites created by Azure bot services. Can you tell which bot specifically is there?
And, as Mike and Niels suggested, please continue working with support; we'll follow this investigation as well.
Thanks

Just to chime in I'm seeing the same I'm on my side. Did anyone have any luck in excluding the bot from backups?

Hi Luke,
In your job you can do an exclusion of a site. You should be able to exclude that specific site?

Hi Mike,
Apologies for the delayed response and this looks to have done the trick! I think last time I was trying to add them as an exclusion I wasn't patient enough. I can see them now and I have added them as exclusions.
Thanks for your suggestion!

Luke,
Thank you for getting back on this. Was the site in question generated by some Azure bot as well? Can you recall which bot was it?
