Failed to retrieve licences for x users

Post by BenBTransport »

I back-up two tenants with a total of 7 users.
I have been backing those 7 users and some sharepoint sites for the last year with out any problems.
Afther i updates tot version 5.0 i can’t for the life if me find a solution to the following error messages.

“Failed to retrieve licences for x users”
6 of these users have a Microsoft 365 Business Standard licence, and one has only a exchange online plan 1 licence.
The SharePoint Site Collectins back-ups still work fine.
the exchange / onedrive back-ups of the users are the problem.

Please advice.

i logged a case about this witch got closed with out a response.

Case #04709532

Hi David and welcome to Veeam Forums!

This message indicates that you're exceeding the number of users in your VBO license.
Can you please check how many users are displayed as 'used' in the License Information dialogue?

You can use Powershell to get a list of licensed users, if you want to know which ones are using a license in VBO365

Code: Select all
