Feature: Monitor disk space like B&R

Post by shaneintercare »

B&R monitors the production datastores and repository's. When those are almost full, an alert is send. This functionality is not available in the Veeam M365 backup.

Please include this function so veeam M365 monitors it's disks where the repository's are stored on and sends out an alert when they are almost full.

Hi Shane,

In VB365, repositories on block-based storage are not receiving any new functionality and features anymore - object storage should considered for the future instead. For object storage, you can set a soft limit and get notifications once your backup size reaches a specific limit.

Thanks!

That is object storage. We use local storage. Thus does not apply..

Yes, it's for object storage, I know that )

I encourage you to consider switching your backups from local to object storage. While we will continue to support Jet-based repositories for some time longer, all new features and updates will be introduced exclusively for object storage repositories.
