Hi all,
wanted to place a feature request regarding the built-in reports in VBO.
A filtering function to exclude mailbox types in the report would be very nice.
I have some customers who do not back up certain shared mailboxes or room mailboxes because they do not need a backup of them. Currently, however, these show up in the mailbox report as "unprotected", which distorts the actual result / report. I do not know how the exchange data is being process within VBO, but the mailbox types can be fetched using PowerShell very easy with something like "get-mailbox|where {$_.recipientTypeDetails -eq "roomMailbox"}"
Any plans on this for the future releases ?
Thank you !

Re: [Feature Request] Filter VBO mailbox report
Hi @falkob
We don't have any specific plans at the moment to modify reports. This specific one was designed with the use-case of showing unprotected items overall.
A question: Are those customers using Veeam ONE? Just thinking out loud for the future

Hi Mike,
some of them are using Veeam ONE some do not.
But yes I know what you mean and think that this would be a great step as all of them are using VBR and VBO
Thanks !
