Finding a SharePoint site when restoring using VESP

Post by robnicholsonmalt »

My client has over 2,000 SharePoint sites (actually Microsoft 365 groups) and the user interface is nigh on unworkable. How do you filter this view to find say a group with "Support" in the name?

Hi Rob

Thanks.
If you know the name, then you can click on the first entry in this list and start writing. The explorer will automatically jump to the given entry. It's similar to how windows explorer works. There is no search field, but using the keyboard lets you jump to a chosen name.
and the user interface is nigh on unworkable
I assume, you request better filter options? You want to have an option to search in the main tree for a specific site and not only content of the sites? Anything else missing, which would help you in your daily work?
We are always glad for feedback about our products.

Thanks

Thanks for that - will be helpful when we know the name exactly.

We have planned a search field in those explorers, but I cannot give an ETA at this point in time.
