HCP for Cloud Scale without Immutability - Is it possible?

Post by flavio.santos »

Hello team, good morning!

We use here HCP:CS with versions 2.5.1.1, 2.5.2.3, and 2.3.2.4, so all of them are compatible with the unofficial list minimum version (1.3 or later).

By default, HCP:CS has the Object Versioning enabled, and we can not disable it.

When trying to create an Object Storage repository, we receive the message: "The selected bucket supports blob versioning. Select a bucket with disabled blob versioning".

The fun part of it is: using restAPI we can create the bucket, the message happens only when using Veeam directly.

Is there a way to use HCP:CS without the Immutability? We need to create a repository with 1 year retention for a customer.

Thanks!

Flavio Santos.

Thank you, Polina!
I opened a case after reading that, and they promptly sent me the workaround.
