High CPU and Memory usage

Post by TR-Ara »

Hello,
Struggling with Veeam for Microsoft 365. CPU usage 98% and RAM 99% all time.
Veeam version: 6.1.0.438
windows server 2016 v1607, 16GB RAM and 4 CPU

Moreover, how can i backup the configuration?

Hello Tony,
At first sight, the resources look too low for me, especially the CPU. I would recommend that you take a quick look at the Best Practices and Help center: Moreover, are you running Community Edition or licensed edition? You can always open a support ticket to let our Engineers help you, but as said, first take a quick look at the Best Practices, where you will see more information regarding Proxy, which is the component doing the heavy lifting.

Thank you!

I agree with what Jorge has said, but it certainly depends on what you are trying to backup and to what type of repository. So some additional information might be interesting to see if this setup is good enough.

Thanks
Mike

Hello,
Thank you for the reply. It is a licensed version and the repository used is a NAS.
I already opened a ticket with the support, Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 #02839522. I will update the thread when its solved.

Thanks TR-ara,

Since the repository is a NAS, are you using iSCSI or SMB? Especially SMB can be causing quite some issues when you run the Jet DB on such a device.
