How to search specific Teams name in Teams explorer

Post by yusaku »

Hello team,

My customer has 4600 teams in their O365 environment. So they want to search for a Teams’ name to restore a specific team. However, I can not find how to search the Teams name while using Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Teams. Is there any way to do that?Image

Hi Yusaku,

In the console, search by a team's name is not supported. With almost 5K teams, it might be faster and easier to restore a specific team via PowerShell.

Thanks!

Hi Polina,

Thanks for your prompt response! Do you mind if I ask you to provide an example of PowerShell code for restoring Teams?

Hi Yusaku,

I don't have it at hand but will try to come up with something.

By the way, there's a hint for the UI navigation: to quickly jump to a team in the left pane, press the first letter of its name (i.e. for Polina's team, I'd press "P" on the keyboard).

Hi Polina,

I would really appreciate it if you come up with some sample powershell. And, Thank you for your hint. However, the hint doesn't work for Japanese multi-byte characters T-T.

Yusaku
