Case# 06364104
I just want to confirm that Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 follows the immutability rule as Veeam Backup & Replication as mentioned in this article?
https://www.veeam.com/kb4416
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... tml?ver=70
Above article seems to suggest it supports version-level immutability support at the storage account level as well?
Enable Versioning for blobs
Disable Version-level immutability support at the storage account level
Enable version-level immutability at the container level
Do not enable any life-cycle rules
Does that mean I shouldn't configure any Access policy like Stored access policies or Immutable blob storage policy on the container level?
I am trying to understand the cost associated with enabling blob versioning if I don't have any life-cycle rules configured.

Re: immutability for VBM365
Hi Jimmy,
You check the full list of requirements for VB365 here: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... tml?ver=70 :
Enable version-level immutability OR blob versioning on the storage account
Do not enable any default time-based retention policies
Enable version-level immutability at the container level
Thanks!
