A backup of 29 users and two sharepoint sites with about 1000-2000 files (< 2GB) take 75-90 minute. Is that normal?
The server has a Gigabit connection.

Re: Is this normal backup speed?
Hi Daniel,
This might be reasonable, especially on the first job run. It takes some time not only to transfer the data but also to "enumerate" each item that sites, mailboxes, archives, and OneDrives contain.
Please note also that configuring different jobs for different types of objects might help to reduce the window.
At the same time, we're currently looking at something to further optimize the SharePoint backup performance.
