Item may have a virus reported ..

Seeing as this still doesn't seem to have had any progress, and the same log message occurs in Veeam Data Cloud for 365, has anyone found a way to identify the problem files proactively?

In VDC we get log messages such as:

Code: Select all

Item may have a virus reported by the virus scanner plug-in Total count of failed items: 20

But it only tells us about one of the items.

Surely there must be a way to find out what files SharePoint has flagged as containing malware, so we can get a list of all of them?

Veeam's processing clearly knows, but isn't telling us. Which isn't overly helpful - now we have to try and work out how to replicate what they already coded as they don't appear to have surfaced the results very usefully.

If anyone has some working PowerShell or something else that can do this, please share
