Job not adhering to backup window

Running VBO version 3.0.0.422. I've got a job that has a backup window of 12p-12a, and when it runs according to it's schedule it will end when it hits the backup window. However, if I start this job manually before it's scheduled start it will skip any and all backup windows and continually run until it is done. Is this an expected behavior when running manually before a scheduled start within a backup window?

Correct, if you start a job manually it is normal that it won't be stopped between the pre-defined time slot.
