Known good S3 compatible vendors

I have a months old ticket open (Case # 05046612) trying to get one S3 compatible vendor working with VBO (we use it and it works fine with VBR) and it is not going well. Does Veeam maintain a list of S3 compatible vendors that are known to work with VBO?

We don't have such a list. We support every S3 compatible vendor with the following charateristics:

Any S3 Compatible object storage device fully compatible with the AWS S3 operations and AWS S3 Signature Version 4 standard.

You can ask your storage vendor if they comply with this.

The vendor I'm having the issue with has those characteristics and works with VBR, but it does not work with VBO.

This should never be the case actually. As you can see at the bottom of the post, this list applies to all Veeam products.

Hello pstilber, I checked the support case (I am not from support) and it looks like there is a performance issue on the target.
You listed in there that you have tested with other backup method. Do you reuse the same bucket for multiple products?

Please share as well the vendor support ticket number. I will add here some resources from my Alliance team to escalate the case over that communication path with the vendor.

It's a stand alone bucket for VBO. The case with them is #729784.
