Mailbox Backups doubling up?
Hey all,
So I have a few backup jobs, the two in question are Ex staff members (will call ex) and Users with Mailboxes (I'll call UWB)
These are based on dynamic groups, and it seems like it's working as intended -when a user is disabled their mailbox moves to the Ex backup job.
The only thing I'm not sure about if I've configured correctly is if the data is then removed from the UWB backup, or is it then duplicated in both jobs?

Backup will not be removed.
It will stay there as long as your retention is set for the backup repo. You will have the backup data in two repos, if you are using different backup repos for esch job.

OK thanks, I was afraid it would work that way.
Other than a lower retention period, is there anything (powershell?) I can do to manually tidy these up?

You can remove data from a user, but you will loose all historical data („restore points“) of this user.

Actually, the correct link is https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbo36 ... tml?ver=50
The archive link should only be v3 and v4 information.
